When it’s become clear that it’s time for a fresh start, a new website can open up a world of possibilities. Or, it could be that you never had a website in the first place. Either way, we have some options for you.
Take a look at the different choices that are available and think about which appeals to you. We can have a discussion about what you are looking for and if it will make sense with your budget.
Single Page Site
A single page website acts as a landing page to represent your business online. It’s a great cost-effective way to present all the necessary basic information about your business in a well-designed way. Less time is spent in working out site architecture and more time is spent on design. It’s a great option to start with if you don’t already have a website, or if you need a landing page to advertise separate aspects of your business apart from your main website.
If you don’t already have a WordPress website, the WordPress Starter provides all the basics in a cost-effective way. The WordPress Starter also acts as a solid foundation from which your website can grow. If you don’t have a lot of content already created for your website, this is usually your best option.
The WordPress Starter contains the basic pages that most WordPress sites need.
Pages usually included:
The WordPress Starter can also include pages like “Services”, “Our Team”, or other pages, but it’s best to keep things simple with 3 to 5 pages. The reason for this is that it’s often enough work on its own just to get started if you are still figuring out how to represent your business and if you are lacking content (images, documents, information, copy).
The Nest Egg
The Nest Egg is the site that will take you through the long haul. It has all the basics, but it also has unique additions that really add a lot of value. It’ll include the 3 to 5 key pages from the WordPress starter, but it will also include several other pages that really highlight key parts of your business that will make you stand out against your competition. The Nest Egg can be anywhere from 5 to 20 pages and can be added to and improved continually.
Not only will we put those pages together for you, we’ll also equip your website to be scalable. With a little bit of training from us, you’ll be able to create new pages and add new content easily.
If you already have a lot of usable content, this is a great option. We’ll dig into everything that’s available and craft it together to make a site that is unique and really exemplifies the personality of your business. This is where the most work is done to build something that will carry you through the years to come.
Figuring out how to choose
We can help you decide which option is the best one for your situation. And don’t worry about wondering if you’ve made the right choice, we’ve designed these options to build on one another. If you start with the Single Page Site, we can eventually turn it into the WordPress starter by expanding the design into multiple changes, and your single page can even serve as your new home page.
When we say that we can help you decide, we are looking out for your best interest. It doesn’t benefit us at all to push you towards choosing The Nest Egg just because it’s the most expensive because the price matches the amount of work. Going straight to The Nest Egg when you don’t have much content requires a lot of effort to pull off. If you don’t have a lot of content to work with from the start, we’ll most likely encourage you towards the Single Page Site or the WordPress Starter. Our goal is to partner with you to come up with the best plan that will bring you success.
